I saw that trigger tech is coming out with a tikka trigger announced at Shot Show. Does anyone have info on it? Single or 2 stage? Pull weight range????

This is an interesting post because I had no idea that a current Triggertech trigger will not fit on a Tikka. I just found this out when I ordered a new barrel from Southern Precision. And of course i bought a Triggertech Diamond trigger that I an't use.

Supposedly TT was working on a Tikka model for months now.

I actually love single stage but would prefer a lighter pull weight than the 1.5lbs I can safely get my Tikka's too with aftermarket springs. I'm interested.

I have that one - just as nice as a TT diamond - keep mine aorund ~6 oz

Good to know but I'm not spending $600 on that trigger.

I figured it was the only way to get my Tikka to feel right, and I had already bought a Vision chassis and a Bartlein. So, either sell it all, be unhappy with the 1.5lb trigger, or just buy it.

Seems even dumber when the stock Tikka trigger is totally fine down to 1 lbs and a few oz's, but there are limited 2 stage triggers available... we can do this all day, can't we?

Most people want a 2 stage trigger to match the 2 stage TT's in their R700 format guns. I know that is what I want, and if you read the interwebz its also what most other people want. They don't want a Timney.

I have read the Midas is good, but I have never run one. I have never contacted them to see if it actually doesn't fit well in other stocks, or if that's just BS they put on their website so people don't bother them constantly. I don't run KRG stocks anymore.
