    Trigger Time Gun Club - Longmont, CO

    Start Time: 8AM Saturday Morning

    Long Range Level 1

    DAY 1:
    Location: Trigger Time
    08:00AM – 09:00AM Fundamentals eval/safety brief
    09:00AM – 12:00PM Classroom discussion
    12:00PM – 01:00PM Lunch
    01:00PM – 05:00PM Classroom discussion/Range Time (100 yard zero/chronograph/drop chart dev.)

    Day 1-AM will be held in the classroom discussions will range from basic rifle fundamentals/shooting form to understanding bullet flight and environmental affects. Lunch will be from 12:00-01:00 and is the student’s responsibility to either bring or forage for food (TTGC will provide bottled water for both days of the class). Day 1-PM will be held in the classroom/rifle range and will focus on getting each student a 100 yard zero as well as chronograph data to be used for drop chart development.


    DAY 2:
    Location: Long Range Ranch
    08:00AM – 12:00PM Shoot KD range/verify DOPE/hands on fundamentals
    12:00PM – 01:00PM Lunch
    01:00PM – 06:00PM Shoot UKD range (steel targets at unknown distance)

    Day 2-AM will have students shooting steel targets at known distances from 100 to 800 yards for drop verification and wind education. We will break for lunch around 12:00PM and TTGC will be grilling some delicious grub! Day 2-PM will have students shooting on the unknown distance range engaging steel targets of varying size from 100 yards out to who knows where! We will be ranging targets with laser range finders as well as our scope reticles.

    Gear requirements/recommendations:

    -Eye and ear protection
    -Rifle (scope mounted and ready to shoot)
    -Case/bag for rifle transport
    -Shooting mat
    -Ammunition (150 rounds minimum but bring more if you want to bang more!)
    -Bipod/rear bag/shooting mat
    -Rifle log book/notebook
    -Range finder if you have one
    -Food/beverage (other than water provided by Trigger Time and lunch on Sunday)
    -Sunscreen/bug spray
    -Hat
