Hi Guys,

I've been eyeing this scope since it came out last year. Still saving up (not enough funds yet) :( .... Looks like there are 2 models now.

Just wondering if anyone have real world experience with this scope? I know there are a few Youtube vids but the more info the better right? How is Trijicon's Customer Service and Warranty for warranty issues? Everyone is familair with the Vortex no question ask warranty, is Trijicon the same or close enough?

If I ever get this scope, this will go on my 6.5 CM build. It's still on the planning stages. This will be a long term project.

Any input is much appreciated.

Thanks a bunch
:)

I have that "Bad to the Bone" scope . Its mounted on my Bergara Premier Ridgeback 6.5 PRC . Beautiful glass. I thought to my 62 year old corrected vision eyes the glass on my Zeiss V6 could be slightly very slightly better. BUT I had a young guy who didn't wear glasses look thru both. without hesitation he said the Trijicon is better. Its built like a tank ,adjustment clicks are solid. No I haven't done any tracking test. Maybe I'll do that next time at the range. I love it . I have a Athlon Cronus BTR which is very good . But the Trijicon tops it.

@Sieg is using one, maybe he will chime in.

@Aprilia Man Ive been using the Delta version of the 5-5-x56 since the middle of last year. I use it for prone or benchrest target shooting - .22 lr at 50m, 100m and 200m. It is a large, fairly heavy scope but the glass is very nice - even in low light. The huge adjustment range is very nice to have and the tracking on mine is as close to perfect as i have seen. The turrets (0.05 MIL) are really nice in use, even in the cold. Resetting the zero on the elevation is simple and just works, resetting the windage zero is a little fiddly.

I have been looking at the Trijicon now too. Is sfp better than ffp for elr? That was one of my hesitations. Also....for elr (1-2mi) ....do you prefer mrad or moa and why?

Since you plan on shooting at 1-2 miles, I'd opt for MOA since it measures in inches. If you shoot Mils, you have to convert metric then back to imperial.

I hope that sarcasm is obvious enough.
