Night Vision Trijicon mk2 on a 300wm??

Is this kosher? I usually hunt suppressed but I’d be willing to use a brake if I can hunt with my 300 at night without hurting the optic. Thanks.

Trijicon only rates their thermals to .308

What are you hunting at night that needs a 300?

I was told that I could use my 458 socom with limited fire. I never actually used it though, stuck with 6.8.
