Night Vision Trijicon mk3 on a bolt gun

I get it, I'm in the minority using a bolt gun for calling at night using thermal. Im wanting to buy a 60mm and put it on my Tikka rifle. I have it in a MPA chassis so I can adjust it for height so I can overcome that. My question is, has anyone done better than an extended rail to get the proper eye relief? Pictures would help too.

I only found 1 picture of someone's setup using search so please don't bust my chops too bad please.
