Hi Guys

i have acquired a new nomad today. I have connected to wifi without any problems but when I try to then go on the net with Explorer it keeps saying "name not recognised try again " To say it's doing my head in is an understatement!

Any ideas for a quick fix?

Thanks

I used to run Coldbore (and FFS for a short time) on a NOMAD, until Coldbore for the Phone was released and never got to use it again, sold the old donkey a month later and never looked back. It's old, bulky, expensive, slow and outdated and to worsen the deal, the OS was left unsupported about seven years ago by Microsoft. If you really need a combat-proof unit take a look to the Panasonic.

What phone or device are you using to run coldbore?

Looks like somebody never shot in -20 degree weather...

Thats all nice and well but you forgot one important thing. That touch screen will still fog up like a motherfucker and cause problems. BTDT
We use these pads at the scrap yard for inventory and other things, i just about tried everything.

You know I'm not here to promote the Panasonic nor the Nomad ( I cannot care less about what people choose) but I too have BTDT and never had an issue with either in very low temp. But your experience may differ though. In any case, my whole point was about a rugged MILSPEC platform to run Coldbore since I let the Nomad part ways with me.

810G has over 25 different tests inside of it. "fully withstand MIL-SPEC-810G" doesnt mean anything to me unless they specify which one. Or are you telling me it can witthstand -60 degrees because you know that is also in 810G spec...
