I’m not looking to spend much, I should’ve specified. Somewhere in the 100-150 ballpark.
@theLBC i honestly don’t know haha but yes it’ll just be for spotting. I don’t have plans to use it for my rifle

Camera Land has a good deal on a Slik carbon fiber with a fluid head for $200. More than capable for a scope. It's not Gitzo or RRS but it aint crap either.

At that budget I would go on Goodwill.com and bid on one, You can find something that meets your needs shipped for less than 100 bucks.
I bought a Siri ballhead that retails for around 175. Got it for 40 shipped and I still use it today.
