Tripod plate to rifle mount help

Why not attach a short picatinny rail to your stock and then use this? It doubles as a barricade stop and a tripod mount.

If you search through the threads, you will find one where a SH user used t-nuts after he drilled the inside of his stock. Many of our customers have gone this route with the traditional stocks. Basically figuring out a way to put a threaded insert inside securely without depending on glue.
