New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I shot a .308 with one last week and it seems really sturdy. Anything made by Troy is going to be a quality product I would imagine. I really prefer round hand guards and have 3 AR's with VTAC's. The ability to put rails only where yo want them is the thing I really like.
Should mount the same as the line of alpha rails utilizing the stock barrel nut. I used to run a 15" alpha rail and it was VERY solid. Every rail I've ever used from Troy has always been top notch and well manufactured.
I'm running a 13" Alpha and it's solid. I've heard reports of the Alpha's coming loose or not being sturdy, but I'm thinking it's operator error. Completely happy with mine.
