I'd argue it stopped mattering a long time ago. Long ago it became way past the point of ever getting paid off because that was NEVER the plan!
Keeping Nations in debt slavery is what keeps the Global Banking Elite in control of the world and that's the way they want it.
The plan is always the same. Take all you can, make the stupid people vote for stupid politicians, run up the debt for as long as you can as high as you can to maximize your profits. Then let it all hit the wall, swoop in and take everything claiming "bankers must be paid", and then let the peasants try to start over from scratch slaving away to be able to "borrow" their own money again.
The Global Elites are not going to be bothered when it finally crashes, it's all ya'll that are going to have everything taken away, even that stuff you think you "own". Sorry you and your family and everything you own is already promised to the Global Elites as payment for the debts your politicians run up...
And your worshiped Uniform Hangers will be the ones enforcing the handover of everything.
