She is a lightening rod for both sides of the party, could cause a civil war inside their ranks.
It will make Ocasio Cortez the spokesperson of one side and one of the other old guard a talking head on the other.
I used to think the more people like Ocasio get exposure on tv and the like the less likely they would be elected but Liz warren is running around here prepping for her Presidential run and its apparent no level of dumb is too dumb.

I think it's a very smart play.
The "republicans" in the house have spent the last 2 years basically trying to block anything Trump wanted to do, so I don't think there will be much change.
However Trump supporting Pelosi makes him able to play the conciliatory and bipartisan card. Especially if he actually gets some republicans to help her be speaker, that will drive a huge wedge in the Democrats between the old guard and the hard line Communists.
