Here's one of my few issues with Trump. He won't do anything about this one - nothing. When we have plenty of engineers here that are still not marketable and have racked up loans, etc. However, when you don't plan on building anything in the USA, don't need engineers, chemists, programmers, etc, etc. Damn Chamber of Chrony Capitalism at work.

Yeah won't fucking happen. My oldest son who is an IT engineer (with a degree and Microsoft certs) lost two jobs because they brought in H3B visa workers to replace him.

Every time I'm thinking about how much it sucks working outside at -40*, or 100* with the sun shining and full FR gear, I remind myself that I'm really hard to replace and always essential.

Sadly the computer generation is going to have to skip jobs constantly or only take on contract work. Just too easy to move onto the next guy.
