Trump ordered to release financials

It's gonna go up to SCOTUS. We'll see where it goes from there. I still don't know how congress can probe into personal Financials of an individual without a warrant. They are oversight and legislation, not law enforcement/investigative.

They're stomping all over the separation of powers for political opposition research purposes.

The inaugural fund is being audited, both federally and by the state of New York. .T turned over "10"s of thousands of documents, last dump allegedly this week, and the investigation continues thereof.

@Nik H.
Can u link the info ? Personals or inaugurals ??

I did find this.

This is what I also saw. It was a headline on Google news feed

What for? What are they looking for?

They seek to create the public perception of President Trumps corruption. After all why would they keep investigating if there was nothing there. I wonder if most of everything the parties do is just theater to play to their base.

They are fighting for their lives. They know that he stands a damn good chance of beating anyone running on the Dumocrat side in 2020.

They are on a fishing expedition and hoping to catch a big one. It will be a shit show to watch. It will also prevent them from accomplishing their primary mission of being the legislative arm which may turn out to be a good thing.

The judge is overstepping and stretching it.

“Courts have grappled for more than a century with the question of the scope of Congress’s investigative power,” Mehta wrote in the decision. “The binding principle that emerges from these judicial decisions is that courts must presume Congress is acting in furtherance of its constitutional responsibility to legislate and must defer to congressional judgments about what Congress needs to carry out that purpose.”

So, I don't see much in the way of Congress legislating in accordance with the Constitution. This subpoena is a perfect example. Anyway, Judge Judy can settle this whole thing in thirty minutes and that is with commercials. Congressional investigations take on the appearance of a show trial. I'm not ignorant enough to assume that courts must presume that Congress is acting in furtherance of constitutional responsibility. Not with the constant grandstanding and sedition going on. Not to mention Congressional trend to legislate through the court of their choosing. They can't have it both ways and they know it

Its a sideshow while the rest of the horses are ferreted out of the barn and positions are reserved at the next governing table.

A tit for tat approach would pull the drain plug, but somehow no one puts their fingers on the pull chain.

Not changing my opinion till AJ see's nooses lining the capital.
