Y’all are just like modern doctors pushing pills to address the effects, instead of the cause.. we must force the gov and Leo, and fed, abc’s and lmnop’s to enforce already written laws and force illegals out of the country... not just deny them their stolen opportunity to vote.. I heard a public radio station today interviewing Cubans in warez, worked their way up here from Belize, admitted to traveling THROUGH many countries to apply in America for asylum. DEMAND asylum seekers apply in neighboring country. FED needs to make it a crime to give illegals any form of id. Not even so much as a toe tag.. just return to sender label.

I don’t show receipt at Wal mart.. am old enough that I will leave a liquor store if they say they “have to” see id, yet voting is one thing I wish real American id was required for.. that and food stamps.. That being said I understand we’re your coming from and would rather not have any illegals in our borders and be able to vote without I’d, and be certain there are no illegals or dead people voting.

Voting is a lose-lose situation for me so fuck voting and those who are still delusional to believe that our votes actually matter. I don't vote and therefore I am called apathetic and that I don't have a right to speak about politics if I don't vote. If I did vote, my vote would be called wasted because I would always vote Libertarian if I did vote.

And why is QAnon still a thing? I HATE how 4Chan bullshit runs it's course way longer than it needs to!

What I said is relevant whether you believe God gave you these rights or not. If you believe these ideas then they must be fought for. Seems like you said the same thing yet you are arguing.

As for the WalMart scenario, its a private business. Not government. Come to my house and see if I dont check your shit if I think you took something.

Showing an ID to vote doesn’t seem to be violating anything as far as I am concerned. Shows I am a resident of where I am voting. Thats all. Seems to me all the constitution preachers like you are all full of bullshit and just like to whine and complain while doing nothing just like everybody else. I believe in individual liberties as well but I don’t get mad at WalMart.

Agree. We have laws in our country when it comes to voting. The only way to ensure those laws are kept, is providing identification. Can’t be a Felon, at least 18 years old, must be a US Citizen, etc etc.’Would be nice to live in a world where we could just take your “word” for it, but we don’t sooo suck it up buttercup. Show your ID and cast your vote.... Welcome to America??

Well, allowing people to cast their vote, which in turn, affects the outcome of our elections, without properly vetting them to ensure the basic requirements are met, is in fact infringing on the rights of every US Citizen in our country.

Is requesting my ID before being allowed on a Military Installation an infringement of my rights or a term of my agreement? Should anyone and everyone be allowed on Military Installations without being vetted? Sounds like a pretty severe security risk to me.... Voting in our elections, thereby affecting the course of our country is no different.

No show ID, no allowed on Base....
No show ID, no get to Vote....

While your making a good argument, and I’m all for id for voting, base access and voting are not apples to apples. And voter I’d is tainted as many states do not require and states like Cali issue I’d to illegals

New York is the same. Drivers License to illegals. Getting a drivers license also registers an individual to vote in that state. Imagine that.

Maybe it wasn’t the greatest analogy but my point being, there are “laws” in place. Some good and some not so good. Some laws I see that are in place are in place to protect us and our rights as US Citizens. What good are those laws if there is nothing in place to enforce them? What good are voting restrictions if there is no way to check the validity of an individuals claims? Illegal Immigration is a prime example of laws in place that are meant to protect our country and its citizens that nobody enforces.And look at the mess we’rw In. I’m all for individual liberty and the Constitution, and it would be nice to live in a world where there was no alterior motives and you take a mans word on his handshake, but we don’t. So if showing my ID in order to cast my vote somehow makes the voting process more secure, than I’m all for it.

They are trying to push the voting age down to 16.
Can't drink at 18, can't buy a gun in many states, can't rent a car.
In fact, the ages for drinking and firearm purchase are now 21 in the state of Florida.

BUT, they are trying to bring DOWN the age requirement for voting so that the kids can decide what's good for actual adults.
