Here's a snapshot of the serial number, can someone point me in the direction to verify the DOM? I want to know if it's CR legal or not.

Fantastic, thank you.

Would you have the ability to scan and email me a copy of that page? I'm trying to convince the seller that it's a CR legal pistol, I'm not in the mood to deal with a yellow form or a transfer fee right now.

Glad you got your answer. I was going to say that trying to 'date' a S&W K frame is similar to trying to 'bed' a rifle: plenty of wine, small talk, and flattery.

Wrong. Once a firearm is 50 years old, it's C&R. As long as you can prove that it's 50 years old, it doesn't matter what model it is.

Yep, and if you buy something that's NFA but older than a 1959 DOM you don't have to deal with a Class 3 dealer, just pay the tax stamp and be approved, then it can be shipped straight to you.
