Rifle Scopes TT Gen 3 XR Backorder

Just wondering what is hold up with new TT Gen 3 XR? Placed order November early December and nothing yet. Any info why they are so backed up? Why everything came to complete stop. People were getting them but seems past couple months they are sending couple if any scopes out?

I was speaking to one of the main guys over there back in February. To quote his email: "I should also let you know that our TT525P model with Gen3 XR reticle is proving to be extremely popular, and our back-order list is now approximately 5-6 months deep.". That was back on February 5th

Because the owner individually inspect every single scope, both mechanically and optically, before it leaves the door. If it does not pass his muster it is rebuilt. They only make something like 6-10 scopes a week. When you buy a tangent you're not just buying a scope. It's a work of mechano-optical engineering art.

I can attest to this. Waited for my Gen3XR for a while and after having had every top tier scope....it is just unbelievable the quality that these offer.

They were awaiting reticles which are now in and perfected. They said when they start shipping it will be in order of how orders came into them (makes sense) starting end of October back orders

No, the reticles were not passing QC is what the rumor is.

I heard the reticle issue is fixed but they are flooded with orders.

I just hope they don’t rush them out the door. We’ve seen plenty of examples on why that never works with the other high end competition at this level.

They are extremely professional and methodical. They will not rush anything, preferring perfection to getting the product out the door in a hurry.

Heard some news today that what will be shipping are from October orders. Euro probably had orders in from then.

This morning talked and confirmed from TT. They are having shipment of TT525P GEN3XR going out this week to US. CSTactical will be getting them also and they are one of the first ones to pre order, orders placed as early as October 2018. Thats what Sales Manager from TT said.
