Turkish guns can be good. I have a new weatherby Orion that's very well done.
However, it's $1k, not the typical $2-300 Turkish over/under.
I think the key is who is contracting and what their quality control specifies.
For what I'm seeing on pricing, I can't say I'd buy one. I'd just grab a 10/22 knowing I can cheaply add a green mountain barrel if the stock one doesn't shoot.
