Here's my mark 2. Sanded, trimmed and filled shitty factory stock for a better fit. Filled checkering with devcon for texture. Added two sets of inserts for lower and.side pic rails. Cerakote patriot brown on the metal. Didn't want a boyds due weight and I use this as my night rig.

That looks nice! Did you wood screw the rail sections to the stock or use a backing of some sort?

No, I drilled and installed threaded inserts into the stock. Much cleaner and stronger way to go.
