    Because people next door held a birthday party yesterday with balloons, laughter and music. There was no shooting and bodies laying on the ground.

    The news agencies along with law enforcement are still attempting to get the correct spellings for the victim’s names. Apparently there were 3 Shaeniuquah Jacksons involved, but they are having a difficult time locating the fathers for clarification.

    There's a tweet a couple pages in at this thread (https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant...-4-dead-at-sweet-16-birthday-party/107725312/) which purports to show some of the victims. Not going to post the it, but notable is a Glock with an extended magazine lying on top of one of the victims. The gangster image promoted by certain record labels and social media can play a part in the vacuum created by lack of stable, two-parent homes. Even in backwater towns that may or may not have actual gangs.

    As an aside, in the ongoing asymmetric warfare going on with China (i.e. pumping fentanyl into Mexico for delivery to the US) one could easily see them dumping Glock switches everywhere, with the aim of causing mass shootings and subsequent firearm restrictions. Or they'll just sell absolutely anything to make a buck. Will be interesting see what was used and if there were any lawful firearms owners involved.

    Not optimistic that media will follow through with details. The only follow-ups I see are when certain criteria are met, otherwise it's on to the next car wreck. "If it bleeds, it leads" is indeed the motto of all TV networks.

    Damn shame for innocent kids caught up in dumbassery of others.

    They sell the damn things on Facebook… along with “solvent traps,” oil filter “adapters,” car fob cloners , garage door cloners, catalytic converter fencing sites… you name it, Facebook is actively selling and promoting it.

    I am sure the rest of the “socialist media” places are, too.

    And to add, I caught a burglar neighbor on video that had previously broken into my house, twice, and presented the evidence to Austin PD who in turn raided his home. Not only did they find my property along with other people's property, they found an illegal sawed off shotgun, which the detective pointed out was a Fed. Felony.

    The Austin DA prosecuted him for the burglaries but the Feds weren't interested in the illegal shotgun and that was dismissed. The guy was given probation and of course re-offended, the next time it was Deadly Conduct involving another stolen firearm.

    Similar shootout in Huntsville a few months ago. Lots of expended rounds. Conveniently press never followed story. Guarantee full auto.

    Sheriff did say likely gang related. Then the news stopped.

    Very odd that all the news coverage is just that it was a senseless tragedy and how could this happen, and for some reason no description of the gunman(s) or questioning where they might be. This is very much like when someone with 4 Arab names yelling God is Great in Arabic blows or shoots something up and the press with a straight face actually asks what the motive could possibly be.
