Twist rate question

For someone who's planning on shooting 180gr or less from a 300wsm, is a 1/9 twist too fast?

Its certainly more twist than you need, will probably shoot fine though.

Absolutely no issue.

Personally, I try to keep bullet rotation under 300,000 rpm. With 1:9, that means keeping velocity below 3750 fps. I think it would be real difficult to get 180 gr bullets to leave the barrel at 3750 fps with a 300wsm so you should experience zero issues.
