Just curious what everyone has seen when opening a new container of the same powder. I've been loading on the same 8lb of 4350 for a while, but I had used a new 1lb for a particular batch of ammo and saw 20-25 fps increase. Not a worry for me, just unexpected. Is there a typical amount it holds to between batches or you just got to test it?

You have to test it.
Normally it’ll be a pretty small difference from lot to lot but every now and again, it’ll be substantial.
Testing is only way to know, only way to be safe.

I could probably drop mine a little, but I like the speed. I'm shooting the new A-Tips and they like speed. Just got my first pound of RL16, I'll look out for speed change when I get a 8lb.

I have 3 lots of Varget. They are 100 FPS apart using the same load. The load produces the same accuracy regardless of the lot or the velocity difference. When 1/3 amounts of all three lots are mixed, the triplet charge produces a velocity right down the middle.
