Rifle Scopes U.S optics Field Spotting Scope

Re: U.S optics Field Spotting Scope

Not even in the same ballpark. Eye relief is too long and focus is very fussy for each distance. By the time you get focus turned ( it is stiff !! ) you are off target. Their scopes have very good glass but not their spotters.

Re: U.S optics Field Spotting Scope

I agree, there are spotting scopes with better clarity.
And if you have hung around HuDisCO at Steel City, his spotter 60 will absolutely ruin the way things look through any other spotting scope.
Well back to the USO......
Once I get it focused on my target I can spot .308 holes in a shoot-n-see target at 300yds. And with the reticle I can call adjustments for my self or shooting partner fairly easily out to about 550yds.
All in all I like my USO spotter for what it is, its a tough as nails FFP field spotter that has a mil reticle that can work in conjunction with my USO rifle scopes. Hope this helps.
