Why is it in the last year and even more the last 6 months that UFOs and Aliens(space not illegals) are getting alot of press and also discussion even inside the beltway? Are they getting ready to release some real proof of extraterrestrials and are just softening us up for the shock of it?

The Shawn Ryan podcast has been doing a ufo series lately. Apparently, there’s former employees of Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, etc, coming forward saying they’ve reversed engineered ufo’s and they work. Kind of an interesting listen, if you’re bored or want to mix it up from the usual stuff.

What I would be more interested in is the technology they are using for this. His interviews with Steven Greer are pretty interesting and those techs will change the world if it ever was true.

100% agree. A lot of it seems pretty far fetched, I was surprised Shawn did this series. It seemed way out there from his usual stuff. But if that tech exists, it would shut up the leftist climatists and the oil industry pretty fast.

This is much closer to the truth and his story never changed. Never admits more than he knows and has been proven right on a few key points. Shawn “guests” show ignores opsec protocols in stories, especially the third guy, he was a plumber yet when got to the top secret base they briefed him on everything that was going on? That’s how I know he’s a complete liar. That never happens. EVER. Especially to a plumber.

I could see a certain group ginning up a bogus UFO in some restricted area and letting a couple of gullible pawns have a peek at it.
For all we know, Roswell could have been some unmanned alien probe, and they decided to use that (plus the slew of cheesy 50's alien flicks) to keep the masses terrorized.
As for right now? 100% distraction. Have a degreed engineer & physicist on any debate panel. Just ask a few fundamental questions about some of this woowoo technology. Especially with Lazar. All his college claims were debunked.

We'll have to agree to disagree. No agency hires a technician to figure out alien propulsion systems. Guy was never a degreed scientist of any kind. Loved listening to Art Bell, some of the tales were wild: the guy on the run from the CIA because he accidentally started a war between the vampires and the aliens was a hoot.
But Lazar's claims never held up to any scrutiny.
At this point in life I think it would be cool to see real evidence of space aliens. As long as they don't land and start probing everyone.
ETA: the most believable were Major Jessie Marcel and the scores (hundreds? thousands?) of commercial and .mil pilots that have witnessed craft beyond anything known to man.
Like I said earlier, sit back and watch this shit unfold before our eyes and then, make an assessment of what to do. Black government with super powers doesn’t sound particularly enticing in a combat situation. Bender, you’re dead on with the opsec and lying ass body language even the covering acts that Shawn displays seems well rehearsed during many of the interviews. Greer is like a robot when it comes to his stories and almost always describe in exact detail each interview he’s doing a sit down.
Just watch the interview. I was lukewarm on Lazar for 20 years, change your perspective and just listen to him. A couple good points of why he’s authentic. If he made it up, it he would have made it more believable and a better story.
And yes. Greer is a well poisoner. As are other popular “Art Bell” names.
Should watch the Jeremy Corbell documentary with George Knapp. Between the interviews and the video, I tend to believe Lazar way more than Greer

The entire premise of the series is the tech exists and the government needs to know about it because of the reasons. I’m wondering what happened or where the podcast is going, it used to be pretty good.
