I’ve been thinking about getting a new S&B for my PRs gun. Just wondering if the ultra short is comparable to the full size pm ii? I don’t know anyone that has one to look through.

both are very good. I am not aware of any comparisons that put one above the other, in terms of optical quality. I am a big fan of the 3-20 US, but also of the 5-25.
Highly recommend the 5-20 Ultra Short for PRS competition and general overall use. I have a S&B and several other scopes of various brands that are in the 5-25 mag range. Like most PRS shooters, I rarely use magnification above 16 (much less 20) on most stages so the size/weight savings of the 5-20 (or even the 3-20) Ultra Short have made it my “go to” scope for my primary rifle.

No problem at all. To add, the clarity/overal image quality of my 5-20 Ultrashort is as good if not better than my S&B 5-25. Forgot to put this tidbit in my post - hope it helps.
