I think that is funny as all hell! Glad no one was injued too bad and no one killed, but it could have turned shithouse in a heart beat.
No Commo from the Boys in Blue and watch out for the Thin Blue Line on this one. They will cover their asses and few if any will be fired. "We have investigated this incident ourselves and can find no wrong doing." Several should not have their jobs anymore. Hit the bricks assholes, but it will end up as business as usual FUBAR.
I am a firm supporter of LE for the most part but have in my lifetime seen that Honorable profession go downhill in a life altering slippery slope skid.
There is too much"Fill the ranks" mentality and putting people in those ranks that do not have the mentality to be good LEOs as there are not enough good ones to go around yet they need the bodies. Fill those slots even if they can't pass basic proficiency tests.
I think that the only way to remedy the situation is for all of the Agencies to self Police their ranks themselves and weed out the people that don't belong in that profession and get rid of them before they fuck up and every Agency has them and they know who they are.
Do I think that will ever happen in my lifetime? FUCK NO FM
And they wonder why the People have little to no respect for them? Start within and work out.
