All,

This is just a quick warning order for an event that is in the early planning stages for April 2011 and dates are yet to be confirmed.

The details are roughly as follows:-

Location:- Mid Wales - WMS Training Facility

Plan:-

Friday

Police & Military only.

Small trade show with live fire demonstrations of equipment

Night shoot to demonstrate new Night Vision Kit



Saturday

Civilian day

Trade show with live fire demonstrations of equipment

Zero Practice competition shoot

Night shoot competition.


Sunday

Mid & Long range Field target shooting competition (400 to 1300m)

Short & Mid range Field target shooting competition (100 to 800m)


The comps will be teams of Two Shooters not individual.

(Competition Entry Fee £50.00)= 79.07 US dollars


Prizes:-

There will be a number of trade sponsors.

Each sponsor will donate products to the prize fund.

Top Prize at the moment is a Blaser R8 Rifle worth approx £3000.00 or 4,744.20 US dollars

Hi there, it's great to see a comp like is he in the UK! Can't wait now, capt561921 where will I get more info on this near the time? Web site? here? and when will I start keeping an eye out for entry forms? (I have two team here in northern Ireland looking a piece of this! Not many like this in The UK so don't want to miss this lol! Thanks

This was already circulated as a PR League shoot and was up on the Practical Rifle web pages a while back.

If you subscribe to the site it will send you automatic updates on all PR shoots.

If anyone wants to shoot the McQueen Sniper practice, we have this booked for at least once a month throughout the year (Bisley). Fire me a PM if anyone wants to attend??

Will this be something akin to FinnSniper, where ghillie/camo/stalks are beeing judged? Pure shooting competition? Something in between?
