Universal Basic Income flops (surprise, surprise)

You couldn't live in the US on 1100 doll hairs a month and live in a house. Their entire country has less than the population of LA and Chicago combine. The unemployment rate is bullshit. The US had an unemployment rate of 4 percent last June, less than theirs, yet more people. Even Canada has a 5.8 percent unemployment rate compared to last year. Their numbers are screwy.

I'm sure they fuck with the numbers just like we do. It's probably some shit like, if you've had a job for more than a week in the last 6 months, you're not unemployed for that half year.

In the US, the unemployment number that is always mentioned is 100% complete bullshit. It's so far off, its a fucking best case scenario wild ass guess number. Anyone who has been on unemployment for more than 6 months is no longer counted. Ever wonder why our participation rate goes down yet so does our unemployment number? How do you have less total people in the workforce yet the number of people looking for work in the workforce also goes down?

Those 2 things can't exist together, yet they almost always do.
