Just got a Timney 510 trigger to replace the one I had in my 700. I am a little disappointed because the Timney is fixed a 3lbs+ and I am used to under 2lbs. I had to replace it because the bolt release tab broke off. Does anybody know the manufacturer of this trigger? The only marking is the number "1" seen pictured. It is hard to believe it is factory because it is so light.

Looks like a old walker factory Remington. People who didn’t know what they were doing adjusted them and bad stuff happened. They blamed the trigger so now every Remington has their new ex lax trigger

Remington Trigger a 100% and if you know how to adjust them they are a good trigger. The gentleman JCMULLIS2 is correct people who didn't know what they were doing made bad stuff happen. I've adjusted thousands of them but would reject some when they had any issues...
