I live in NY and was wondering where I could find a semi auto H&K mp7 or if its legal

Non-existent! ALL MP7's are select-fire ONLY (safe, semi, full).

And if you are going to lust after one...at least spell KOCH correctly (pronounced "coke")!

As mentioned, there isn't a semi version. Even if there was, it would have to me made primarily over here due to importation restrictions. The only way you'll even see one is in government use or at an FFL/SOT that has one for demo use....

But they are fun.
