Suppressors Up to date NFA trust info?

May not have dug deep enough, but I couldn't find an update regarding Barry Hussein's efforts to fight NFA Trusts.
What is the latest? I am in an area where CLEO signature is out of the questions and have made my mind up to go the trust route, but now I hear from a friend that "NFA trusts are no more". I am thinking he is misinformed...
Lastly, (worst case scenario) say this administration DOES do some damage to the trust system. Will those who already have a trust be in the clear?

ATF 41P has still not been implemented and no date is currently set. Until official word comes out which provisions if any will go into effect, I would carry on with business as normal.

I feel your pain. After waiting almost a year for the whole process to go through I finally this last February was able to pick up my AAC 762-SDN-6 suppressor and now I feel like I need to suppress my G19.

We are in the mystery world of the unknown. For now, trusts are still accepted. Like others here wrote, probably best to get a can or two bought and Form 4 (Application for Tax Paid Transfer and Registration of Firearm) turned in before the situation changes for the worse. If by chance the process gets better, just submit another Form 4 or two in the better system. While some folks got "lucky" with relatively fast approvals using eForms, it appeared for now to be short-lived. Time will tell.
