Hey all,
While I'm sure this isn't the normal bolt gun question, but still a bolt gun none the less...
I have a 1939 German Mauser 98K and at about 50 yards it shoots about 5-6" to the left. I tried to move the front sight blade as far as possible, but it just seem the rifle wants to shoot left.
It holds groups, which preplexes me, so it tells me the rifling is still half-good (or less). If anyone can offer some insight as to what I can do for this old girl, it would be great.
I'm not expecting much out of a 70-plus year old rifle, only to hit human targets within 300m, which shouldn't be asking much of a German MAUSER.
