Hi all. Last week at Shot Show. Pretty uneventful, scope wise. All the news was last year. Oh, yeah, S&B will have their 1-8x Dual CC scope available soon. Oops, that was last years' news.

This note is a public service note of sorts. Unofficial as it might be. TT is making some great glass, and this community, especially the PRS and ELR guys want it badly.

A quick update, as we are getting a lot of calls on Tangent Theta, for the 3XR. What I have to say goes for any dealer. The demand for this scope is huge, and Armament Technology is going full steam in manufacturing, but this is not a high volume producer. They build great stuff and take their time. We started placing orders for this scope in November, and were told there was a 5 week lead time. When we ordered in December, they said lead time was 5-8 weeks. Well, January, the lead time has grown to 10 to 18 weeks. Basically, the demand is coming in 2x faster than the output, so the backlog will continue to grow. Add to that, some slowdown we experienced getting Canadian goods across the boarder, during the US Gov't shutdown, US Customs prioritized perishable goods or whatever ahead of rifles, chassis and scopes.

For our customers, those of you who ordered in November, I talked with AT today, and those orders will be amongst the first to ship in the next week or so. For our December customers, we are probably 3 to 4 weeks out.

Some dealers, who are much larger, they might have a shorter wait time, not because they are getting scopes any faster, but while we tend to order 5 to 10 TT's a month, there is at least one dealer who is probably ordering 20 or 30. So, if you call me, I am quoting 16 weeks, and the other guy might be getting his December order to their warehouse in 4 to 6 weeks, but their January order is in the same line as our January order, if you see what I am saying.

Also, you probably have heard that TT 2XR has a ShotShow special price that the manufacturer announced. So, those are ready to ship to your dealer now. We have a few now, and ordered more. AT told us that these will remain in the catalog; it is not a liquidation. The 2XR is a great reticle. Simple, clean, proven.

The 3XR from TT and the NF Mil-XT have seen phenomenal demand, and there will be a bit of a wait. Good to see such great demand for great brands.
