US Army M24 Sniper Rifles; Raffling Some at SHOT

Remington and the US Army are Surplussing 4,000 M24 Sniper Rifles. They will be Raffling Some of these surplused rifles at SHOT Show.

Further, after Shot They'll be taking 2,000 of these rifles (pre-customized by the soldiers who carried them) and selling them on a first-come, first-serve basis, via Remington military website.

Holy moly, why do people keep creating new threads and re-posting this misinformation from the guns.com article?

There are already numerous threads on this forum about this. And even then, most of the posts refer to the bad information from that article.
