I see that the United States F Class Open
Shooting Team has selected the 7mm magnum; 180 grain bullets.
I couldn't find any information on their decision making process. Anyone know?
Thanks.

"7mm Magnum"

Which of the following are you saying they adopted? 7WSM, 7/300WSM, 7SAUM?

Re: US F Class Team

I had heard a while back that they're going to 7 wsm. Things may have changed now.

Re: US F Class Team

Yeah I had heard from two different people that it was either going to be the 7SAUM or the 7/300WSM.

Either way, they all need to shoot the same thing, so the wind coaches don't go bat-shit-crazy trying to make wind calls.

Re: US F Class Team

They have a 7mm bore requirement with a 2950 FPS minimum velocity slinging 180s. Get there any way you can was the guideline.

Lots of RSAUMs in play.

Re: US F Class Team

That sounds more like it. IF the pills are running roughly the same velocity, how its gets to that speed is less important.
