USO is truly one of the last great american companies - there were many companies like it in the 40's and 50's but greed overpowered those companies and they are either in china or went under (Or as in GM were taken over by the government).

Greed overpowered them? WTF? More like government regs and unions overpowered them.
OP, I couldnt agree more. USO is a top notch company selling world class optics with customer service to match. </div></div>
Either way, many of those quality companies are gone. Unertl, etc.
This isn't just shooting gear, it's all aspects of society. It's a shame, but such is the way of things. Fake brand name clothing, knockoff auto parts, china made sports gear. We truly live in a WalMart world these days.
I just wish people would consider what they buy when they buy cheap knock off junk. Sometimes its unavoidable, but sometimes it becomes a bad habit that really damages American companies bottom line.
Then there are the companies that ship out the work, like our illustrious auto makers. Don't even get me started on those guys. Or when you get Habib for customer service.
