Rifle Scopes Used Schmidt Bender PMII 5-25x issues...is this normal?

Bought a SB PMII 5-25x from another member on the PX. Member has more positive feedback than I've ever seen any other hide member. Perhaps the most. So I felt good going through with the deal.

1) Windage turrets. IIRC, the PMII has a max of 6mil left or right and, once reset to zero shouldn't turn past L6 or R6. However, on this scope it can rotate well past 6 mil in both directions (see pics below). Is that normal?

2) Box missing product label. The last SB PMII i had, and all the ones I see listed here, have the sticker on the end cap with product/model, seriel #, reticle info, etc. What I received is a box with the SB logo, but nothing else. It also doesn't have any quality control stickers indicating it's been tested. Any reason I should or should not be concerned? Is this normal?

I plan to call SB in winchester tomorrow, but want to get community input first on experience with windage.

I just checked: it's absolutely normal for Schmidt und Bender going windage past 6 mils

Also my 3-12 Pm2 do the same.

I would not be worried about the missing label.

I would rather check the clicks tracking, a friend of mine has a 3-12 pm2 that has 1 click equal to 0,13 mils. for him 3 clicks at 100 m are like 4 for me.

what reticle do you have? is it ffp?

How much is worth a 5-25 in the US these days?

Yeah my PM II does that. Any other issues? I would shoot it and see how it tracks.

The box looks like a replacement from SB. I sent mine in for a check up without the box and they sent it back in a plain SB box with no markings.

That's the box mine came in New from Mile High about 9 years ago.

It's amazing the crappy box they put a $3,000 scope in.
