Hi all, I am fairly new here and fairly new to long range shooting. I am in the process of building a rifle (Howa 1500 barreled action .308) that is off at the smith right now getting the barrel threaded and some trigger work. My question is do you see used stocks (Mcmillans, Manners, B & C's) very often. I am trying to do this on a budget and was hoping to find something used but not sure if there are any major concerns I need to be worried about or where to even find a used one. Thanks!

not for a Howa... see them for Rem 700 and Savage occasionally... few for a Win 70

Broke down and ordered a B&C Medalist. Just couldn't justify the manners at this point in time.
