Join contestI just added an AccuTac monopod for bench shooting. While I like the vertical adjustment, it's tendency to walk is a little frustrating. Has anyone come up with a way to minimize or eliminate this issue?
Is a mono pod the herpes of rifles. No matter how many people are educated on how they aren't good there is always a new case
Thats helpful, thanks for sharing. Maybe, just maybe, there are other applications for a rifle than shooting PRS, I've heard tell of big game hunting and such, some with 2 legs. And just maybe, there are other methods to obtain and hold a sight picture than your method of choice. And then there is the weight consideration..... not everybody rides a golf cart to the firing line.

My bad. I should have said Accu-Shot, not Accu-Tac.
By the way, this was my first post on this forum and I thought it was called Sniper's Hide, not Snarker's Hide... Thanks for all of the input.
I'm yet to ever see or hear of one. If weight is an issue a small bag filled with light fill is lighter than a monopod. To the op. If you are having issues with your mono pod try getting a small rear bag you can squeeze. They cost very little or you can even make one. A bag allows better and faster elevation controll and allows your rifle to recoil naturally.Thats helpful, thanks for sharing.
