Has anyone used a PVS-14 with a Spotter 60? I know there are dedicated adapters for the Leupold Mk4, and I’ve got a Monoloc SSAHD adapter tucked away somewhere for attaching a phone that might help, but I’m curious if there are newer/better adapters out there?

I’ve got a high spec PVS-14 and I just want to see if it’ll work for night spotting (with a Kiji) before going the clip-on route.

@WillHugh and I regularly use a Badger SNAP with a high spec L3 PVS13 behind a Mk4 spotter. I am not sure if it would work with the spotter 60, but if the eye piece on that spotter is built similarly, it may be worth trying with the Badger SNAP. If the eye piece objective is smaller, a little bit of electrical tape would likely solve the issue.

Nice. I’d be curious if you or someone else could measure the OD of the Mk4 ocular before I throw $160 into the wind.

It looks like the OD on the Spotter 60 is just shy of 1.5"

I usually use a Spotter 60 with the Badger mount and a PVS30 and PEQ2A or PEQ15 and PLRF15 on the Ashbury mount on top. But if using just a PVS14 the Monoloc works perfectly. Using a Spotter 60 with the PVS14 would also be an excellent combo.

@robogunner I'm still looking for my Monoloc, but I do remember it has the bushing for the Spotter 60. Is a second bushing needed for the PVS-14 or does it directly fit into the Monoloc on the other end?

There is a thin bushing for the PVS-14 on the small end, really just a cushion for the clamp. Works pretty well if you have a decent illuminator.

I have a Badger SNAP and use it with my MKIV/PVS-14/Kiji 3 degree illuminator. I am really happy with the combo and use my Radius LRF with it for distance measurements.

I finally found the Monoloc tucked deep in the bowels of my garage. Sure enough, it clips right onto the Spotter 60 with a bushing installed, but it looks like I'd need a second, smaller ID bushing to match the PVS-14.

    Back to the drawing board...
