The instructions say to use a once fired case. The first measurement is made by sliding one of the collars forward until it-the collar just touches behind the plastic bolt. Then you place the bullet you intened to reload into the barrel and firmly seat into the throat.Once again you move the second collar forward, set the set screw and you have the o.a.l of a bullet just touching the lands. My new-guy question is this.If I want to have a .15 jump or whatever do I subtract .15 off of my measurements from the above proceedure. For example I get 3.oo with the bullet just touching the lands.Do I subtract .15 from this number to get my seating depth or what?Thank-you for your help.
