We're extremely pleased to announce our 0317 Day Rifle Sweepstakes for 2023! This year, we're giving away an amazing, custom-built KMW Zealot Rifle in .308 Winchester, with a NightForce Optics NX-8 scope and mount. Whether you're familiar with our annual sweepstakes or not, we've made some huge changes this year. So, let me take you for a walk down memory lane...
About 14 years ago, USMC Scout Sniper Association started raffling off rifles to help raise funds to support our mission. These rifles helped share the history of the amazing weapons used by Marine Scout Snipers. In the years since, we've been privileged to have generous donors provide some really special custom rifles built with the most authentic components available. These rifles replicated the actual sniper rifles carried by Marine Scout Snipers from the Vietnam era to the modern day. Some of them were built using take-off parts that came from actual, USMC-issued sniper rifles of the era. It just doesn't get any better than that!
Since these historic parts are becoming scarce, we decided to change the types of rifles we offer. Modern rifles like the ones built by Terry Cross at KMW are more than a worthy successor to the historic sniper rifles of the past! We're also very fortunate to have generous donors who give specifically to cover the operating costs of the Association. This allows us to proudly state that EVERY PENNY donated here in this sweepstakes or through our online donation portal goes straight to our charitable purpose! For these reasons, and because online raffles come with unique compliance issues, we decided to offer this fantastic custom rifle package for FREE - NO PURCHASE NECESSARY!
Welcome to our first-ever 0317 Day Rifle "Sweepstakes"! While any US resident over the age of 18 may enter for FREE (see the complete Rules here), we certainly do hope that many of you will choose to make a donation as you enter. We've worked hard to be a voice for our Scout Sniper community and to serve our brothers and our families who stand alongside us. We hope you understand how valuable you, our members, are!
