I ordered an SN3 T-Pal 3.2-17X MIL MPR with a red illuminated reticle. They are going to take up to 21 weeks to make it. However I thought maybe I should have went with green. Has anyone seen both and had a preference for one or the other?

The Green is easier to see than Red, that's the himan eye but in most cases, to me, the Green is too bright.

I read that green is easier to see also. The thought I had about green and why I got red was that if you will be out with a lot of green background like grass, plant's etc green might be harder to see in that situation. What do you guys think?

Dan46n2, I have used bolth red and green illumination in USO 3.8x22 SN3's. I dont prefer one or the other, it wont matter which color you get.

That's good, maybe I'll just make that an excuse to order a second scope with the other color

I prefer red. I can tell you that on the highest setting the red reticle is so bright that at night it's practically unusable. Right after dusk 2 or 3 is just fine.
I have a cheapo scope with red or green depending on which way you turn the dial. I just find red more pleasing to the eye at night. I also figure if I ever mount a PVS22 to it, I would rather have a contrasting color available.
