Have any of you SN-4 owners noticed the amount of light projected out the objective end of the scope using the illuminated reticle...even on low powers? I was messing with mine at night and noticed that it's light up like a christmas tree. Was going to try using a sacrificial PVS-14 lense to cut down on it, but I'm getting an ARD to try from USO. If that don't work I'm thinking of sticking with the Bindon aiming concept at close ranges and just leaving my front scope cap closed when running at 1X. Anyone else have this problem or notice it?

Yes, pretty bright on mine.
It's quite visible on my SN-3 3.2-17 as well.
I think this is quote normal.

The ARD will certainly help at extreme angles, but it will not help hide it from your target.
