USPS insurance claim

Looks like I'll be filing a claim for damages on an item I shipped. Any of you guys been through this process? What should I expect? Pain in the ass?

I’ve always assumed they’d make it difficult enough to make it not worth it. Hope it goes well. Let us know I’m curious myself.

Ive had claims that took running up 5 levels to get resolved and ive had claims where they just paid it out.

No way to know how yours will go.
