I also saw a story of them filling it up at BP. Now, I'm sure POTUS wasn't in the damn thing when that was going on but I assumed fuel would be trucked to them instead of having to drive on down to the ole gas station for a fill up....

They drove it in the back (non-ceremonial) entrance. Same place the motorcade ultimately left from just minutes after this little oopsie...

Has more to do with the longer wheelbase the the ground height. Had to have rattled the teeth of the driver.
