Hey guys. If anyone in the SLC - spanish fork area is headed down this saturday June 11th and you would like some company let me know. I'm looking for a ride down. I will ride home with Clint (desertratdad).
I was planning to ride down with him friday night and help get things set up like last month but work is requiring me to stay late friday night to put in a new server so I'll be working until early morning.

Id rather not try to drive down after being up all night and I would like to ride back with clint so we can talk more about getting ready for Sept.

SO, if you dont mind hauling me and my laprop for scoring the competition and my cot and a few other items I'd appreciate a ride. Guns too IF you have room. (If not I can leave them at home)

Just now got back from the range. Rodney still has the scores. I'll put them up as soon as I get them. (or maybe Rodney could just put them up here) We were there all day today doing some serious prep for Sept. If there's "anybody" else that could help out, it would surely be appreciated.

It looked like some fine shooting weather. Silly me never put up a steel target or highest scoring ring larger than 1 1/2 MOA. Some got dialed in and some didn't. Shot from 200 to 1000 yards yesterday. Wind was shifting 3 directions anywhere up to about 10 mph.

25 yards (and I can't remember if the biggest target is 8 mm or 8 in)

The answer to your question would be 25 yds max pistol range IF we shoot pistols.
This month with 13 people we had 4 stages on the long range shooting.
#1- bolwing pins. 300/400/500 yrds - 10pnts each- 3 shots total
#2- small steel targets at 1@ 200/ 1@ 300/ 2@ 385/ 1@ 550
#3- Paper at 600yrds
#4- paper at 1000yrds

Robert had a 100 yrd precision course planned out but after everyone shot the 1st course and it was time to move to the precision everyone wanted to reshoot the long range course so we did it a 2nd time in stead of the 100yd precision.

Afterwards no one wanted to shoot the pistol or carbine shoots and they all packed up and headed out.

We are working on a stage for "over the edge" at unknown distances out to 600 and possibly 1000 yrds if we can get the targets for it.
