Night Vision Utc X won’t calibrate ?

Traded fir a Utc x a few months back. Made sure it worked then threw it in safe. Finally got around to using it and it won’t calibrate most of the time. Either has “scintillation “or these lines / blur on screen. If you turn it off it will sometimes calibrate fine after restart.

Any ideas. ?

Software version 5.2. Was sold as in perfect shape.

Yes I have xii / skeet / utm / etc
