Rifle Scopes Vari x 3 or VX3

Are these different scope models, and if so what would be the better grade? I have a Vari x 3 that i am thinking of selling and i need to figure out a fair price. Thanks Lee

Yes, they are different. The VariX-III were the first generations, then came the VX-III, and now they have the VX-3.
