anyone had problems with the PLRF 15c unit in cold weather (20's and lower) the unit works fine in normal weather, but goes south in the cold. Replaced the batteries, and looking at a different battery to use...
Never had issues, not the c model, but my 15 was in some horrendous below zero temps for 9 days same batteries no special protection or warmers. Perhaps the 15c is more sensitive with the extra electronics
maybe just shit batteries? My electronic hearing protection takes batteries which i leave in the polaris - some brands will die in a week sitting there in the glove compartment in winter, others survive for months. large variance in battery quality
