Got inspired by Alphas car thread.

First pic is my 73 F250, 460, D 60's, driver side toolbox, custom bumpers, Acura TSX buckets and SD console...spent 2 years of my life building that truck.

Also included is my 1979 on 44's with stretched wrecker bed. 1972 Crew (in progress) getting a cummins 4x4 swap etc. My grandfathers 62 Willys.

I love the title of this thread lol. I love anything with an engine that burns gasoline or diesel. In medical school I used to drive a 87 civic with no A/C lol.

Agreed Alpha6164, I did a 79 diesel VW Rabbit. Beat the hell out of that one. It finally started sucking engine oil and burning it for fuel if you drove over 50mph...Good thing it had a manual trans so I could push in the clutch when the engine revved into the stratosphere. Ha

My Factory Five Roadster wearing new Mickeys (posing as Eagles). Had to add the scoop when I swapped motors and ran out of deck height.
It’s got a big, mean comp cam on a 350 stroked to 427. Dynoed 580hp to the rear wheels on a 1,700lb car. It’s a four wheel motorcycle, but it gets pretty squirrelly above about 80mph. 100 feels like you’re doing 200.

Oh man I bet she is fun with that weight and power ?

My Cobra prolly cost half of what your truck costs...maybe a third. That Daytona looks like there’s a bit more in it. The catch is you have to build it yourself.

Now, I gotta ask, since we are looking at fleet models on the "South side of the tracks", did this guy have to sell his mobile home (aka trailerhouse) AAaaannnd his vacation mobile home to afford this?

Funny S##t......I would never sale my trailer..... that was my inheritance from my daddy...... but i am looking for some tires so i can move it to the other side of the tracks.

Brought this home from Wyoming recently. 6K later looks exactly the same but has seats that are actually bolted to the floor, front discs, stainless brake lines and a new third member and rear axles on the way.
Door lock knobs had 18" of elec tape on them to keep PO from locking himself out of truck. Latches were so covered in grime they quit functioning. haha.
Found that I have a 351 W in the back of my store so that will eventually be a 408 or something similar.

Funny how old Fords come along and all the shooting stops for a while....neighbors are probably happy about that.

I'm looking for something to trail ride here in SE AZ. The VFW has a large collection of folks who ride Razors and such, and I've been looking long (very long) and hard at a Razor 1000 with some nice suspension work, shade, maybe some sounds, and a locker trunk.

I'd really rather have something like an early 90's Tracker like I used to own, so I can seal it up against the talcum dust and run some A/C, it gets to the mid 100-teens here. There, I'm a wuss...

My Post Commander suggests I get a Razor trade-in and add what needs adding.

Any suggestions?

Greg

PS Have I ever seen that Shelby Coupe at Watkins?

Greg, I've owned Polaris and Honda side by sides. As far as ride the Polaris wins by a mile. It wasn't even close. Now...that was about 8 years ago so things might have changed since then.

Not much you can't do to a Jeep and their relatively cheap to upgrade.

@grinnergetter that 250 is downright sweet, looks mint and I bet it's a beast!
Some nice rides here! Best friends dad had a factory built shelby car, 9200 rpm 5.0, the most beautiful maroon i had ever seen, and what an amazing sound. Cancer got the car, then him. Damn shame. Still love those things though!
@Kickin45 hang on to that one! Love those things! Cyclone is harder to get than typhoon, I'd take one over a 454ss any day! Unless someone turned up a 92, and it didn't have a red interior....

Here’s a photo of “my family truckster”. 1979 F350 crew cab. It’s a project that I hope to get on soon. First I need to clear out some other stuff. Anybody looking for a 1966 ElCamino! ?
